The Ludwig Atlas Standard Boom Stand is a medium/heavy-weight cymbal stand built for the gigging professional who wants dependable hardware without hauling around the heaviest-duty gear. It's affordably priced, fully featured for medium-to-large venues, and light enough to carry without a drum tech.
The stand stands on sturdy double-braced legs for a stable base even during hard playing. The base feet and wing nuts use Ludwig's new Keystone design, making them quick and easy to grip and tighten between songs or during soundcheck. The tube joint clamps are insulated, cutting down on rattle and protecting the finish when you adjust the stand.
The tilter is Ludwig's own 12mm design, convertible between straight and boom configuration, so you can adapt the setup to the stage and your playing position. The cymbal sleeve is threaded and locks securely in place, yet remains easy to replace once it wears out.
