Ludwig Universal Cherry 14x6.5"
14x6.5" cherry snare drum from Ludwig's Universal series. Balanced attack and warmth, live or in the studio.
Product Description
The Ludwig Universal Cherry is a 14x6.5" snare drum built to fit into nearly any drum set. The cherry shell gives a warm, full tone with clear attack, and the hardware is chosen for stable tuning and reliable performance.
Construction
The shell is built from 6 plies of 7.5 mm cherry, giving a full, warm fundamental tone with good resonance. Triple flange hoops contribute to an open, classic snare sound. Tube lugs offer a rugged, easy-to-tune design that holds its tuning well over time.
Snare Mechanism
The drum features a P88i throw-off and P35 butt plate, a reliable combination that gives fast and precise control over snare wire engagement. The 18-strand snare wires provide a crisp, sensitive snare response to both light and hard hits.
Who It's For
A great choice if you want a snare drum with warm, classic tone and dependable hardware, equally at home on stage or in the studio.
