Product Description
The Ludwig Universal Metal is a brass snare drum delivering a rich, dynamic sound with optimal response, sensitivity, and dark, warm tones. It's suitable for a wide range of tuning ranges and head combinations.
The drum is modeled after Ludwig's famous Black Beauty and fitted with a 1mm all-brass shell (black nickel-plated), heavy-duty tube lugs, a P88i throw-off, a P35 butt plate, and 20 strand snare wires for fast, articulate response. Chrome Triple Flange hoops keep the drum locked into tune.
