Product Description
The Ludwig Supralite is a snare drum built around a mirrored, polished 1 mm beaded steel shell, delivering a bright, cutting attack alongside a wide mid-range of overtones. A versatile, road-ready snare that fits any budget.
The shell is fitted with chrome plated brass tube lugs and chrome plated triple-flanged steel hoops. The snare wires are brass, and the drum features the new and improved P88i throw-off along with a P33 butt-plate – a combination built for reliable performance on stage and in the studio.
Sound and Construction
The thin beaded steel shell is known for giving snare drums that bright, cutting crack with plenty of attack, while the wide mid-range of overtones keeps the tone from feeling thin. The brass snare wires add warmth to the buzz that complements the bright fundamental.
