Latin percussion Vibra-Slap Deluxe - Metal
Vibra-Slap Deluxe percussion instrument in metal from Latin Percussion, delivering a metallic clatter with long sustain. Rotate chamber to vary tone.
Product Description
The Latin Percussion Vibra-Slap Deluxe is a classic metal percussion instrument that produces a distinct metallic clatter with long sustain. It was originally developed as a durable replacement for the delicate rattling horse jawbone and has since become an essential instrument for percussionists.
- The sound is created by striking the ball end against the palm of the hand
- The sound can be varied by rotating the sound chamber
- The metal version produces greater attack and longer sustain than wood versions, which instead have a warm, crisp tone
The Vibra-Slap is simple to play but versatile in tone: striking it against your palm sets the ball in motion so it rattles against the sound chamber, and rotating the chamber lets you fine-tune the sound to suit the song or setting.
