Product Description
Latin Percussion timbales in Fausto Cuevas signature spec. A 14" and 16" brass pair with traditional tuning. Built for clear attack and the open, cutting sound Latin rhythms need, finished with Gold Tone hardware and a Black Nickel shell finish.
The shells are made from brass with a 6.5" depth and tuned via traditional tension rods (5/16"). A special 5-hole hoop design creates extra space for the hand when playing cáscara, and there's a 2-inch difference between the macho (smaller drum) and hembra (larger drum), giving the classic tonal contrast between the two.
The set comes complete with a stand (LP981, double braced), cowbell bracket, timbale sticks and a tuning wrench. Everything needed to get started right away.
