Product Description
Gold-finished tension rod from Latin Percussion, model LP1414, made for LP's Classic 90 timbales, including the Tito Puente signature model. It is part of Latin Percussion's spare parts range for percussion instruments.
Latin Percussion has built percussion instruments and hardware for professional musicians for more than fifty years, and its tension rods are made to match the brand's own timbales precisely. This gold-finished rod measures 90 mm in length (measured without the screw head) with a diameter of 5/16" (7.9 mm) and a usable thread length of 33 mm. A washer and nut are included, so the rod is ready to install.
This rod is intended for timbales with gold-finished hardware, such as the Fausto Cuevas Signature and the Matador (Pre 2009). If you instead need to replace a tension rod on chrome-finished hardware, for example the Tito Puente model, the 1st generation LP Timbales (with M. Cohen badge) or the Matador (Pre 2009), use the corresponding chrome-finish rod.
