The Super Nuts is a gold-finished tuning nut from Latin Percussion, sized 5/16". It's designed as a replacement or upgrade part for tuning lugs and tension rods on a range of LP models.

The nut fits all tuning lugs and tension rods in both 9/32" and 5/16". It's compatible with LP Professional Bongos and LP Timbales (except Aspire and Prestige) as well as LP Professional Congas (except Galaxy, Palladium and Top Tuning). It's also suitable for upgrading Matador, Highline, Aspire and City congas and bongos, as well as Matador Timbales. The package includes 6 nuts (PU: 6 pieces).

Latin Percussion was founded in 1964 by Martin Cohen, a mechanical engineer from the Bronx who fell for the sound of Latin jazz at New York's famous Birdland club. Trade embargoes made high-quality Cuban-made bongos impossible to find in the US, so Cohen built his own. And went on to build a company that has since supplied congas, bongos, cowbells, timbales, cajons, shakers and effect percussion to musicians worldwide, working closely with performing artists along the way.
