Upper stand post from Latin Percussion in chrome-plated steel, with a 1" (25.4 mm) tube diameter. It's the original replacement part for the LP981 stand, and also fits the LP984 mount bracket and LP985 cowbell bracket.

This post is the upper section of the stand tube used on LP's timbale stands and similar setups. It works both as a replacement when the original post has been worn out or lost, and as a standalone component when building or extending your own stand. Because the diameter is a standardized 1" (25.4 mm), it fits not only the LP981 stand it was originally designed for, but any stand using the same 1" tube segment. That makes it a handy part to keep around in the rehearsal space or on the gig, whether you're working with LP's own brackets or another maker's stand built to the same tube standard.

The post works together with the LP984 mount bracket, used for mounting various percussion accessories onto the stand tube, and with the LP985 cowbell bracket for mounting a cowbell. The chrome-plated steel finish gives a durable surface that holds up to daily handling on stage, in rehearsal and in the studio. Sold individually, one post per package.
