Latin percussion Santana Africa Speaks Quinto 11" - Vibrant Yellow
Conga Quinto 11" from Latin Percussion's Santana Africa Speaks series, with Siam Oak shell and fiberglass-reinforced bores for stable tone.
Product Description
Conga Quinto 11" from Latin Percussion, part of the vibrant Santana Africa Speaks series in Vibrant Yellow Lacquer. The shell is built from Siam Oak with a reinforced fibreglass layer in the bores and internal reinforcement pins for a stable, resonant tone. A great choice if you want a conga with real character and professional hardware.
Latin Percussion was founded in 1964 by Martin Cohen and has since become one of the world's most widely used percussion brands, with instruments heard on thousands of famous recordings.
Construction and Hardware
The shell is 3-ply with a reinforced fibreglass layer in the bores and internal reinforcement pins. The head is hand-selected and natural. The conga is tuned using Comfort Curve II tuning lugs (X Series Profile) and 5/16" tension rods (LP2555). A classic tuning system without microphone tension rods. The sideplates are the Classic type (LP218) and the grip is the Professional version (LP224). Mounting uses a Classic Mount Bracket (Type LP912), with the shell bored for up to two brackets. The hardware is chrome-plated, and ProCare Shell Protectors are included.
