The Martin Cohen Ltd. Tumba is Latin Percussion's largest conga, built for the deep bass tone a tumba should bring to a conga set. The shell is fiberglass and carries a hand-selected natural skin, tensioned with traditional rim hoops and 5/16" tension rods. The Champagne Sparkle finish gives it a striking look on stage, and ProCare Shell Protectors are included to protect the shell from wear.

Sound and Construction

The fiberglass shell provides a stable foundation and consistent response across the drum, while the hand-selected natural skin adds the organic, warm character sought after in traditional conga playing. The classic tuning system with 5/16" tension rods and traditional rim hoops lets the head be tuned and maintained the same way as the rest of Latin Percussion's conga range. Height is 28", and the hardware finish is chrome for durability and a clean look.
