Latin percussion Hand Picked T-X Rims Hembra 9"
9" Hembra bongo head in untanned buffalo hide from Latin Percussion, for LP Traditional and X Series rims. Hand picked, approx. 1 mm thick.
Product Description
The LP264C is a hand-picked 9" Hembra bongo head from Latin Percussion, made of untanned buffalo hide. It fits LP Traditional and X Series bongo rims of the corresponding size, giving the classic, warm character associated with LP's bongos.
Delivery includes one bongo head, Hembra size 9". Each head is hand selected to maintain a consistent, high standard before being mounted on its rim. Thickness is approximately 1 mm and head height (when new) is approximately 30 mm, providing a reliable foundation for tuning and playing feel.
Fit and sizing
The hoop determines the outer diameter of the head, while the stated size refers to the crown diameter at the bearing edge. LP bongo heads have the same crown diameter regardless of hoop type. The stated head sizes are matched to the effective crown diameter (the largest shell diameter of bongos and djembes) to harmonize with Remo and LP conga sizes. If your LP bongo shell size is 5 1/2", 7 1/4" or 8 5/8", choose head size 5 1/4", 7" or 8.5" respectively.
