Latin percussion Djembe Head FX Series Synthetic Mechanic for LP FX PVC-djembe
Replacement head in synthetic fibre for LP FX PVC djembe, 11", built for a clear attack. Approx. 1 mm thick. Fits EX hoops or rope tuning.
Product Description
Replacement head in synthetic fibre for Latin Percussion's FX Series PVC djembes, 11" in diameter. The head is approximately 1 mm thick and made to fit both mechanically tuned models with EX hoops and traditional rope-tuned djembes.
The synthetic fibre matches the head LP fits on its FX PVC djembes at the factory, so replacing it keeps the drum's original character. At roughly 1 mm thick, the head is built for fast response and a clear attack, matching the sound the FX Series PVC djembes are designed to deliver.
The head ships without a hoop or tuning hardware attached and fits two different tuning systems depending on your drum: EX hoops for mechanical tuning with bolts, or a ring for traditional rope tuning. Check which tuning system your djembe uses before ordering, as fitting differs between the two.
