Product Description
Fiberskyn 3 djembe head from Latin Percussion, 12.5" with T-X Rims fit. A thin synthetic head that gives a natural, acoustic tone and works as a replacement head for your LP djembe.
Fiberskyn 3 is a synthetic head material designed to emulate the sound characteristics of calfskin, without the moisture sensitivity of a natural skin. The head is approximately 1 mm thick with a head height of approximately 30 mm when new. Construction is based on Remo M5 with aluminium wheels (Remo equivalent M5-1250-FD in 12.5" size).
The head is compatible with LP X Series and Traditional Rims in corresponding sizes. 12.5" wood versions use T/X or EZ Conga Rims, while Z Series Conga hoops are installed on 14" Djembes.
