LP Uptown Tumba conga, 12 1/2", Ebony Stain finish and extra cut for a bright, focused tone.
Product Description
The LP Uptown Tumba is a 12 1/2" conga built with a slightly slimmer shell than LP's classic models, giving it extra cut without losing low-end warmth. The shell is a 2-ply construction of Siam Oak with an outer ply of ash, topped with a handselected natural rawhide head for an authentic, resonant conga tone.
The hardware is built to LP's usual high standard: Comfort Curve II hoops (X Series profile) for comfortable hand playing, 5/16" tuning lugs, and LP's classic Heart side plates. All hardware comes in a chrome finish. The conga ships with LP ProCare shell protectors to keep the shell free from dings and scratches during transport and storage. The finish is Sculpted Ash in Ebony Stain, a dark, elegant wood finish that brings out the grain of the ash.
