Product Description
This is a 12.5'' tumba from Latin Percussion, signed by Pedrito Martinez. The conga has Top Tuning, a patented system that lets you tune without turning the conga itself.
Shell And Head
The shell is built in mango with 3-ply construction, with an inner fibreglass layer in the shell bore and steel reinforcement pins. The head is handpicked natural rawhide. The height is 30". The hoop is shaped according to Modified Extended Comfort Curve II, also known as Z Series Profile.
Tuning And Hardware
The tension rods are 5/16" and the side plates are of the LP2560 type for the Top Tuning system. The hardware has a chrome finish. The conga has handles of the Professional model, LP224.
Mounting
The conga is drilled for up to 2 mounts with 1" hole spacing. A Classic Mount Bracket, LP912, is included.
Finish And Range
The finish is called Stained Mocha. The conga goes together with bongos LP201AX-PM and conga cajón LP1406-PM, both from the same Pedrito Martinez series.
