Product Description
Quinto conga from Latin Percussion's Matador series, 11" in Whiskey Barrel finish. A classic conga with a pine shell and natural head, built for percussionists who want an authentic, warm conga tone.
The shell is made from pine with a 3-ply construction, and the natural head delivers a warm, full tone typical of hand drums like this. The hoops are Matador Soft Strike (Comfort Curve I), designed for comfortable hand playing. Tuning is handled via the classic Spannhaken tuning system with 5/16" tuning lugs (M215); microphone tuning lugs (LP215M) are available as an option for players who want to mic up the drum.
The side plates (M218B) and classic Matador handle (M224B) come in the same Whiskey Barrel finish as the rest of the hardware. A Classic Mount Bracket (LPA426B) is included, making it easy to mount the conga on a stand.
