Latin percussion Conga Head for CP636
Product Description
The Latin Percussion CP636B is a conga head made from untanned buffalo hide, sized for 10" congas and fitted with LP's EZ Curve Rims. It's built for LP's CP636 series wood and fibreglass conga sets and offers a natural, entry-level sound at an accessible price.
The head is made from raw buffalo hide, roughly 1.3 mm thick, and sits at approximately 25 mm head height when new. The EZ Curve Rim design is available in both 9" and 10" sizes, with this head made specifically for the 10" position. It's designed as a direct match for LP's CP636 wood and fibreglass conga range.
Latin Percussion has built congas, bongos and other hand percussion for professional musicians since 1964, when founder Martin Cohen started making his own bongos after failing to find Cuban-made ones in the US. That background still shows in the everyday parts LP makes today, including replacement heads like this one.
