The head fits directly on congas with an LP X Series or Traditional Rim hoop of the correct size, giving Fiberskyn's warm, calfskin-like tone with better resistance to humidity and temperature changes.

Fiberskyn 3 is a synthetic head that emulates the tone of calfskin while holding up better over time. The head carries LP's logo and is supplied as a complete, ready-to-mount head.

Compatibility

The head is built to match the Remo Crimplock Symmetry models M4-1106-F6-D2 (813.721), M4-1175-F6-D1 (813.730) and M4-1250-F6-D1 (813.740), all with aluminium hoops (M4). Matador congas require the D2 hoop (813.731). The head also fits LP X Series hoops and Traditional Rim hoops in the size specified for your conga.

The head is not suitable for congas with extended collar rims (Z Series and Top Tuning), and not for 11 3/4" Matador congas, where the shell contacts the aluminium hoop.
