Latin percussion Classic Quinto 11" - Wine Red
Quinto conga, 11" from Latin Percussion in Siam Oak with natural rawhide head, chrome hardware and Wine Red finish.
Product Description
The LP522X-DW is an 11" Quinto conga from Latin Percussion, built in Siam Oak with hand-selected natural rawhide heads. Classic tuning hardware, chrome-plated fittings and a glossy Wine Red finish give it both authentic conga tone and a striking look on stage or in the studio.
The shell is 3-ply Siam Oak, reinforced with an extra fibreglass ply at the shell bores and internal steel reinforcement pins for added stability around the tension rods. The heads are hand-selected natural rawhide, and the hoops are Comfort Curve II in the X Series profile, giving a comfortable grip for open-hand playing.
Tuning and hardware
The conga is tuned with classic tuning lugs (5/16" tension rods, LP2555). No microphone tuning lugs. Side plates are the Classic model (LP218), and the handle is LP's Professional conga handle (LP224). All hardware is chrome-plated.
Mounting
The shell is bored for the Classic Mount Bracket (type LP912) and accepts up to 2 brackets with 1" hole spacing, making it flexible to mount on a stand or rack.
The drum ships with ProCare Shell Protectors to keep the shell free of scratches and marks during transport and storage.
