Product Description

The LP Classic Conga 11 3/4" is built with a solid Siam Oak shell and a hand-selected natural rawhide head. Classic tuning hardware and chrome finish give this conga an authentic, warm tone at home on stage or in the studio.

Construction and tuning

The shell is built from three plies of Siam Oak and reinforced with a fiberglass ply at the shell bores plus internal steel reinforcement pins, giving it a sturdy, long-lasting build. The Comfort Curve II hoops (X Series profile) are shaped for comfortable playing over long sessions. Tuning is handled by classic tuning lugs with 5/16" tension rods (LP2555). This conga does not have microphone tuning lugs.

Hardware and mounting

The side plates are the Classic model (LP218) and the handle is the Professional model (LP224). The shell is bored for a Classic Mount Bracket (type LP912) and accepts up to two mount brackets with 1" hole spacing, making it flexible to mount on a stand or rack. All hardware is finished in chrome.

Finish

The conga comes in a glossy natural finish that shows off the wood grain, and ships with ProCare shell protectors to guard the finish during transport and storage.
