Product Description
A conga head from Latin Percussion in the City EZ Curve Rims model, size 12" Tumba. The head is made from untanned buffalo hide and is of entry-level quality, a good choice for home practice or players getting started on conga.
The head is approx. 1.5 mm thick and has a head height of approx. 25 mm when new. It's built to fit hoops (rims) of the Highline, Aspire and City EZ Curve type, in their respective sizes. Delivery covers the head only. The rim/hoop is not included and must be sourced or already owned separately.
Compatibility and sizing
The hoop defines the outer diameter of the head, while the size specification (12") defines the crown diameter at the bearing edge. City EZ Curve rims have a smaller crown and rim diameter compared with professional rims. If you switch between rim types, keep in mind that an EZ Curve rim and a professional rim marked with the same size won't give an identical fit.
