Latin percussion Drumhead LP3901D for LP3018, LP3020, LP3118, LP3120 - Smooth White
Nauga replacement head from LP, 20", Smooth White, for LP surdo drums. Includes 1 head. Two-layer build filters out unwanted overtones.
Product Description
Original replacement head in Nauga from Latin Percussion, 20" in Smooth White finish. Made specifically for LP's surdo drums, giving a full, controlled sound without unwanted overtones.
This is LP's original surdo head, made as a batter head replacement for the models LP3018, LP3020, LP3118 and LP3120. The head is available in two diameters, 18" and 20". This listing is the 20" version, and it fits directly in place without modification since the rim fit measures identical to Remo heads for drum set in the corresponding size.
The batter head is built using LP's Nauga technology: a double-layered construction with an outer Mylar layer and an inner, approximately 1 mm thick layer of black foam rubber. The foam rubber layer filters out unwanted overtones, giving a clearer, more controlled attack. This construction is unique on the market and was developed especially for Brazilian music. The resonant head on the surdo is made of Mylar. Nauga heads are the standard head on LP Rebolo, LP Pandeiro, LP Tantan and LP Surdo.
Included in delivery is one batter head, 20", printed with the LP logo in the Smooth White finish.
