Product Description
Chrome-plated steel bottom shell for LP bongos, an alternative to LP's Aluminium Bottoms (Generation 2). The shell fits LP Generation 2 Bongos (LP201A-2, LP201AX-2), LP Generation 3 Bongos (LP201A-3, LP202-AW) and LP 1964 Original Bongos.
The shell is made from steel with a chrome finish and has 4 holes with threading for tuning lugs up to 5/16" (8 mm), so it works with the standard bolts used on these bongo models.
It is available in six crown diameters, starting at the smallest size, LP5 1/4", up to 9" (manufacturer's own measurements: 5 1/2", 6 3/4", 7 1/4", 8 1/4", 8 5/8" and 9").
The bottom shell is sold individually (1 item) and works as a direct replacement for the original LP Aluminium Bottoms fitted to Generation 2 bongos.
