Product Description
Steel bottom bongo shell, a replacement part for Latin Percussion's LP601NY City Series bongos. The shell has a black, powder-coated finish, a 6" crown diameter and four holes for tuning lugs up to 5/16" (8 mm).
This bottom shell is the smaller of the two drums in a City Series pair and is used when the original bottom bongo on your LP601NY set is damaged, worn, or otherwise needs replacing. The shell is made of steel and carries the same black, powder-coated finish as the original, so a replacement matches the rest of the set. The four holes are sized for tuning lugs up to 5/16" (8 mm), the same standard used throughout the City Series line.
City Series bongos from LP are available with either a 6" or 7" crown diameter. This part is specifically the 6" version and replaces only the bottom shell, not the full pair. One shell is included.
