Latin percussion Aspire EZ Curve Rims Hembra 8"

Product Description

Aspire EZ Curve Rims Hembra bongo head, 8", from Latin Percussion, made from untanned buffalo hide. This head belongs to LP's entry-level Aspire range and gives a clear, bright tone on the hembra (the smaller of the two bongo drums).

For over half a century LP has built classic percussion instruments and patented hundreds of improvements for professional musicians, and its instruments have appeared on countless chart-topping recordings from classic salsa to classic rock. The Aspire heads share the same basic construction as LP's more expensive heads but are offered at a more affordable level, making them a natural choice when an original LP head needs replacing without moving up a price bracket. The head is approximately 1 mm thick and has a head height of approximately 30 mm when new, giving a springy, open feel under the hand.

Fits

This head is built for all Highline and Aspire EZ Curve bongo hoops in the respective size, and also fits LP's CP601 Combo Bongos. Only use Original Aspire heads together with the EZ Curve rims: the hand-picked and Matador models have a slightly larger outer diameter and can jam in the rim, while Remo's original heads have a slightly slimmer aluminum rim. Stick with sizes 6 3/4" and 8" to avoid fitment issues.
