Material and Construction

The head is made from untanned buffalo hide, approx. 1 mm thick, with a head height of approx. 30 mm when new. It belongs to LP's Aspire range, which sits at entry-level quality rather than the brand's premium tiers – a sensible choice if you just need a working replacement head without paying for higher-end models.

Fitment Tip

Only use original Aspire heads on these rims. Heads from the Hand Picked and Matador models have a slightly bigger outer diameter and can get jammed in the EZ rims. Remo original heads have a slightly slimmer aluminum rim. Stick to the 6 3/4" and 8" sizes to avoid fitment issues.
