Product Description

The K&M 23874 is a table-mounted holder for tablets between 10" and 16", built from aluminum with an integrated pneumatic spring that supports up to 8 kg. The mount tilts, swivels and rotates continuously, making it a solid choice for a home studio or office desk where the tablet is used as a music stand, reference screen or control panel.

Construction and material

The holder itself is made of bio-based plastic containing 50–100% renewable, plant-based raw materials. Using renewable raw materials helps conserve limited petroleum resources and reduce harmful CO2 emissions (more information at bioplastic.k-m.de). The overlapping clamping jaws have integrated rubber pads that provide a secure hold and eliminate vibration noise, without covering or blocking the tablet's buttons or controls.

Fit and security

The clamping range for the tablet is 158 to 280 mm, which also accommodates tablets with a protective case up to 20 mm thick. An adjustable mounting bracket with felt padding adds extra security when the holder is positioned vertically and prevents the tablet from falling out even under heavy use. The holder rotates between portrait and landscape format, with a lock that prevents unwanted independent turning.

Flexibility and mounting

The swivel movement can be adjusted from easy to firm resistance via a clamping screw, letting each user set their own preference. The holder can be continuously tilted, rotated and swiveled for a relaxed posture and the right viewing angle. The large, stable table clamp fits desks up to 85 mm thick and allows quick mounting. The clamp offers up to 200 mm of height adjustment, and the upper arm adds a further 350 mm of adjustability. Integrated cable management keeps the setup tidy and professional.
