For years, drummers have stuffed pillows, blankets, foam and other material into the bass drum to get better definition and punch. The downside is that these methods choke the tone and reduce the space available for resonance. KickPort solves this by providing damping directly at the resonant head, meaning you can remove internal muffling. KickPort is designed as a bass reflex port that focuses the outgoing air, giving a compressed, focused low-end punch from the bass drum.

Easy Installation

Installing KickPort is simple. Insert it into the port hole and fold the rubber gasket forward so it seals tightly. KickPort fits port holes with a diameter of 5 to 5.5 inches. No port hole in your front head? No problem: a self-adhesive hole template/reinforcement ring is included. Attach it where you want the hole and cut it out with a sharp knife inside the template.
