Jason Bonham Maple signature, ProMark

Product Description

The Jason Bonham Maple Signature is ProMark's signature stick for the current Led Zeppelin drummer, made from maple with a wood tip for a full, warm attack. A stick for players who want weight and control in the same pair, rooted in rock drumming history.

Jason Bonham has built his own name as a drummer, despite constantly being compared to his father, the legendary John Bonham. As Led Zeppelin's current drummer, he carries the family tradition forward, and this signature stick is shaped around his personal preferences.

Maple gives the stick a full, warm character with good weight in the hand, while the rounded wood tip (acorn shape) produces a softer, more organic attack on cymbals and heads compared to nylon. The combination suits players who want body in their sound without losing control and feel in the grip.

Dimensions and Build

The stick measures 16 3/4" (419 mm) in length with a .595" (15.1 mm) diameter, placing it on the heavier end of the drumstick spectrum – a natural result of Bonham's powerful playing style.

Who It's For

A good choice for players who like rock drumming with plenty of punch and want a stick with history and character, rather than a completely neutral standard pair.
