Istanbul Mehmet Radiant X-Ray China Cymbal - High Polish

Product Description

The Istanbul Radiant X-Ray China is a thicker, high-gloss polished china cymbal with a bright, clear and powerful sound that cuts through the mix. It's built for drummers playing rock and pop who want a china that's heard without losing definition.

The Radiant series differs from Istanbul Mehmet's Traditional series in that the cymbals are heavier and thicker, giving a more direct, powerful attack. The surface is high-gloss polished, unlike the more traditional, unlathed finishes found on other Istanbul series.

The X-Ray is available in 16", 17" and 18" sizes, so you can pick the size that suits your setup and desired sound. The tone is clear and cutting, making the cymbal easy to hear live and in the mix without becoming splashy or undefined.

Who It's For

A good choice if you play rock or pop and want a china cymbal with punch and clarity rather than a dark, complex tone.

Istanbul Mehmet has made cymbals in the traditional way since the 1800s, with Turkish cymbalsmiths laying the foundation for the brand's legendary sound and craftsmanship.
