Istanbul Mehmet Radiant Ride Medium Ride Cymbal

Product Description

The Istanbul Radiant Ride Medium is a ride cymbal from Istanbul Mehmet, built heavier and thicker than the brand's Traditional series. The highly polished surface pairs with a bright, clear and powerful sound that cuts through the mix. Available in 20", 21", 22" and 24", so you can choose the size that fits your sound and setup.

Istanbul Mehmet crafts cymbals in the traditional way and has done so since the 1800s, when cymbal makers in Turkey began supplying drummers around the world with cymbals of the highest quality. That heritage shows in the finished sound.

Sound Character

The Radiant series is built to be heard. The sound is bright and clear with a powerful attack, letting the cymbal cut through a fuller mix without losing definition. It's a ride that works great in most rock and pop settings, where you need a ride pattern that stays audible even when the band digs in.

Construction

Compared to Istanbul Mehmet's Traditional series, the Radiant cymbals are heavier and thicker, giving them extra power and projection for louder playing situations. The highly polished surface contributes to the bright, clear character.

Available Sizes

Ride Medium is available in 20", 21", 22" and 24". Pick your size in the variant selector depending on how much volume and sustain you want.

Who It's For

A great fit if you play rock and pop and want a ride that sits clearly in the mix rather than a dark, subtle comping cymbal.
