Istanbul Mehmet Tomas Sainz Stax4 Set of 4
Cymbal stack from Istanbul Mehmet with four thin crashes at 14–20" that deliver a raw, trashy sound. Play separately or stacked.
Product Description
The Stax4 is a cymbal stack from Istanbul Mehmet, developed together with young Argentinian drummer Tomas Sainz. The stack consists of four thin crash cymbals in 14", 16", 18" and 20" that together produce a raw, trashy sound. The cymbals work just as well played individually as regular crashes, or combined into a full stack.
Sound and playing style
Because the crashes are thin, you get a raw, trashy character that stands out from a standard cymbal setup. Use a single crash for a distinct accent, or stack all four for a denser, more complex sound with longer decay.
