12"/14"/16" Istanbul Mehmet Cristobal Orozco Stack - Natural 3-Pack

Product Description

The Istanbul Mehmet Cristobal Orozco Stack is a signature clap stack in B20 bronze, created together with Chilean drummer, producer and drum technician Cristobal Orozco. The set consists of three hand-hammered cymbals. A 12" Crash, a 14" Crash and a 16" Dark Crash. That combine to produce a compressed, trashy clap sound with short transients and sharp attack. Each cymbal can also be played individually or in any combination.

Born from Real Studio and Stage Experience

Cristobal Orozco has spent years working as a session drummer, producer and drum technician across jazz, rock, funk, Latin and progressive music. That depth of experience shapes the stack’s character: an experimental, modern sound that cuts through dense mixes without cluttering them.

Hand-Hammered B20 Bronze from Istanbul

Like all Istanbul Mehmet cymbals, this stack is hand-hammered in Istanbul using B20 bronze, an alloy with centuries of history in Turkish cymbal making. The hand-chased surface gives each cymbal its own unique character and contributes to the dry, focused sound. The cymbals have a thin profile and a natural finish that preserves the organic warmth of the bronze.

Maximum Versatility, One Set

The three cymbals are designed to work together as a stack or independently. Use the 12" as a sharp accent, the 16" Dark Crash as a broader, darker presence, or stack all three for the signature short, punchy clap that gives this set its name. Includes a cymbal bag.
