Istanbul 20″ Traditional Crash Heavy

Product Description

The Istanbul Traditional Crash Heavy is a 20" hand-hammered crash cymbal from the Traditional series, built for a dark, musical sound with plenty of control. The classic concept has proven itself over decades and suits most musical styles.

The Traditional series is entirely hand-hammered, a concept that has followed drummers from the early jazz and bebop pioneers to heavy metal and today's styles. The result is a cymbal with a dark tone, responsive feel, and a sound you can control dynamically without losing musicality.

Sound and Feel

The Heavy weight gives the cymbal more resistance and body on impact compared to thinner models in the same series, while keeping the dark, hand-hammered character. That makes it a good choice if you want a crash that responds clearly but still holds together under harder hits.

Who It's For

Suits players moving between jazz and metal who want a dark, controllable crash with traditional hand-hammered craftsmanship.
