20" Istanbul Mehmet Legend Ride Sizzle Ride Cymbal
Smaller cup, thin lathing, legendary Turkish process. Rich, warm and natural jazz ride sound, 20".
Product Description
The Istanbul Mehmet Legend Ride Sizzle is a 20" ride cymbal with a smaller cup and a special thin lathing, made using the legendary Turkish cymbal making process. It was specially designed for jazz styles with the contribution of jazz drummers, giving it a rich, warm and natural sound.
The smaller cup and thin lathing give the cymbal an open, responsive character suited to acoustic and jazz settings where a smooth, singing tone is preferred over a hard, aggressive attack.
Sizzle Version
The Sizzle version adds a subtle sizzling, rattling layer on top of the ride's core tone, giving extra texture and life to the decay.
Who It's For
A great fit for players working in jazz or other acoustic styles who want a traditional, hand-crafted ride character rather than a modern, hard-edged attack.
