Into the Dark EZX
Into the Dark EZX, a drum expansion pack from Toontrack recorded at Rockfield Studios. Raw tones for post-punk, dark rock and goth.
Product Description
Into the Dark EZX is a drum expansion pack from Toontrack, recorded at the legendary Rockfield Studios in Wales. It delivers mix-ready drum sounds tailored for post-punk, dark rock and goth, featuring three full drum kits plus a bespoke selection of cymbals and percussion.
Rockfield Studios is the very place where pioneering acts like Bauhaus, Echo & the Bunnymen and The Cult once shaped an entire sub-culture. Into the Dark EZX draws on that same lineage, spanning the full dark rock greyscale, from the blaring, raw and rebellious tones of post-punk to the dark, gruesome hue of industrial-tinged new wave and goth.
Recording and Content
The expansion was recorded by multiple award-winning producer/mixer Tom Dalgety (Ghost, Rammstein, Pixies, Opeth, Royal Blood) together with drummer Mat Hector (Iggy Pop, Gutterdämmerung, Razorlight). Into the Dark EZX comes with three full drum kits as well as a bespoke set of cymbals and percussion derived from the Fields of Rock SDX.
Presets and MIDI
Alongside the drum sounds you get a broad collection of presets engineered by Tom Dalgety, plus a custom MIDI library performed by Mat Hector, letting you apply the right feel and groove to your own productions right away.
Who It's For
A great fit for producers and mixers working in post-punk, dark rock or goth who want drum sounds that already carry the right atmosphere straight from the source.
As a digital product, Into the Dark EZX is not eligible for return or exchange.
