Tama 1st Chair

Product Description

The Tama HT750BC from the 1st Chair series is a drum throne with hydraulic height adjustment and a seat that's a hybrid between a motorcycle saddle and a round shape. It gives quick, precise adjustment along with stable, comfortable seating for long playing sessions.

The 1st Chair series is Tama's most established drum throne line, updated in autumn 2016 with a focus on stability and durability. The seat is built on 12 mm plywood with molded foam and a well-sewn upholstery designed to hold up year after year.

Fast, stable height adjustment

The Hydraulix mechanism gives quick and easy height adjustment without any screwing needed – seat height adjusts between 505 and 685 mm, so the throne suits most body heights and kit setups.

Construction and stability

The seat is held in place by Seat Lock, a two-part hinged fastening with a deeper mount and an extra-strong wing nut that keeps the seat rock solid even during intense playing. The base uses Super Stabilizer Design: a lower base section, repositioned leg crossbar and larger rubber feet give increased stability compared to earlier models.

Optional add-on

For better posture and extra back support, the throne can be paired with the HTB5B backrest, which fits both the new and the older 1st Chair models.
