The Tama HT741B from the 1st Chair series is a drum throne with a built-in backrest and a stable four-legged base – built for players who log long hours behind the kit and want extra support for the lower back. The seat has an Ergo-Rider shape, a hybrid between a round seat and a motorcycle saddle, giving both mobility and support. Height is steplessly adjustable between 525 and 705 mm.
Build and Seating Comfort
Like the rest of the 1st Chair series, the HT741B has a sturdy seat base built on 12 mm plywood, with high-quality padding that holds its shape over time. The base is extra stable and offers stepless quick height adjustment, so you can quickly find the right seating height behind your kit.
Ergo-Rider Seat and Backrest
The Ergo-Rider shape sits between a fully round seat and a motorcycle saddle. It gives you more mobility than a round seat while still offering solid support. The HT741B is the model in the series with a built-in backrest mounted on a four-legged base – useful if you want extra lower-back support, for example when playing double bass drum pedals or during long playing sessions.
