The Tama 1st Chair HT730B is a drum throne from a series known as some of the best on the market, built for comfort even during long playing sessions. It features an ergonomic hybrid seat that sits between a round seat and a motorcycle-style saddle, giving both versatility and improved mobility. Seat height is adjustable in a stepless range from 480 to 670 mm.

The model name "Ergo Rider Trio" refers to the ergonomic seat shape, designed to ease strain on the hips and thighs during intensive pedal work while keeping the stability of a classic drum throne. Like the rest of the 1st Chair series, the HT730B has a sturdy seat base built on 12 mm plywood and high-quality padding that holds its shape year after year. The seat is upholstered in synthetic leather.

Construction and Adjustment

The base is extra stable with stepless quick-adjustment of the height, so you can find the right seating position fast without fiddling with screws. The combination of a solid seat base and a stable leg frame makes the throne well suited for rehearsal spaces and stages, where it needs to withstand repeated transport and use.

Who It's For

A good choice if you want a throne that's a bit more ergonomic than a fully round seat, for example if you play a lot of double pedal or sit for extended periods. If you want extra back support, the HT730B can be paired with the HTB5B backrest at a later stage (sold separately).
