The Tama Stage Master HS40WN is a double-braced snare drum stand built around a gearless tilter that locks the snare basket securely in any angle you choose. The basket also swivels independently, so the strainer can be positioned exactly where you want it. A solid choice if you want a stand that holds your snare firmly in place, gig after gig.

Gearless friction tilter

Instead of a traditional geared tilter, the HS40WN uses metal plate friction to hold the basket in place. That means you're not limited to preset notches – you can dial in any comfortable playing angle and lock it there securely.

Swiveling basket

The basket rotates independently of the rest of the stand, so the strainer can end up on whichever side works best for you. Handy if you need to reach the throw-off lever from a different angle or adjust the stand to your playing position.

Construction

The stand is double-braced for extra stability and fitted with rubber feet that keep it planted on stage or in the rehearsal room. The pipe diameter is 22.2–25.4mm, and the die-cast joint has an ergonomic T-bolt for easy hand-tightening. Height adjusts from 470mm to 630mm (18 1/2"–24 13/16").
