Hollowbody EBX

Product Description

Hollowbody EBX is a sound library for EZbass built around a rare semi-hollow electric bass from 1967. Equally at home in acoustic pop and singer-songwriter material as in indie rock, new wave and goth. It has thud, thump and earthy vibes, yet stays articulate, focused and piercingly direct enough to stand its own in a dense rock mix.

The sampled instrument is a short-scale, semi-hollow electric bass with solid tone, giving it a best-of-both-worlds character: electric twang, grit and dirt alongside a warm, swampy, bluesy, almost acoustic-sounding low end. It was recorded using half-round strings, which further enhances these qualities. The bass is guitar-sized with 20 frets.

In addition to the instrument itself, this EBX includes a broad selection of classic-to-modern-sounding presets, plus a basic collection of basslines tailored for the styles where this instrument truly shines. If you're after big, warm, low end-heavy tones, this guitar-sized, 20-fret, short-scale and semi-hollow bass is a rock-solid choice.
