Hokema Marimba Hocker
Hokema Marimba Hocker, a cherry wood stool with 30 cm seat height. A mini marimba tuned in C major, doubling as a child's chair.
Product Description
The Marimba Hocker from Hokema is two things at once: a miniature marimba and a proper children's stool. The bars are tuned in C major, so kids can play simple melodies and nursery songs straight away, while the stool itself works well alongside other children's furniture.
The mallets are coated with natural latex, which gives them a natural rebound and contributes to the warm, rounded sound of the bars. Because the scale is limited to C major, it's easy for small hands to find notes that always sound right, making this a great introduction to music-making.
With a seat height of 30 cm, the Marimba Hocker fits well together with other children's furniture of similar height, whether it's used for play or for a first musical moment at home or in preschool.
Material and Construction
The Marimba Hocker is made of cherry wood and treated with natural vegetable oils, giving it a warm surface that feels pleasant to the touch and ages gracefully over time.
Who It's For
A lovely choice for the youngest ones exploring sound and rhythm on their own, and a charming combination of furniture and instrument for the home, preschool or music room.
