Kalimba B7 Elektro is Hokema's mahogany kalimba with a built-in piezo pickup and microphone. You can plug it straight into an amplifier or sound system for a bigger, clearer sound without setting up a separate microphone. Made in Germany and tuned pentatonically in C major.
The piezo pickup is built into the body and picks up the vibrations directly from the tines, while the microphone captures the acoustic sound. You can play fully acoustically, go direct to an amp, or blend both sound sources depending on where you're playing. At home, in the rehearsal room or on stage.
