Hip-Hop Hooks EZkeys MIDI

Product Description

Hip-Hop Hooks is a Toontrack EZkeys MIDI pack built entirely around what matters most in hip-hop: the hook. It delivers around 20 individual "songs" made up of hooks and breakdowns at 62–106 BPM, ready for you to mix and match into your own track.

Whatever corner of hip-hop you're working in, from classic boom bap to modern trap, the hook is usually what holds the whole track together. This pack focuses on giving you exactly those building blocks, inspired by a broad repertoire of classic-to-modern hip-hop.

Structure

Each "song" is organized into an A part and a B part, where the A part is the main hook and the B part is a breakdown of sorts. Both parts come in several variations, so you can mix, match and seamlessly fuse blocks to come up with your own flow throughout a track, instead of just looping one idea.

Styles and tempo

The material is written in 4/4 with a straight feel, with tempos ranging from 62 to 106 BPM. Styles covered include trap, West Coast, East Coast, alternative and conscious hip-hop, plus plenty of shades in between. A broad starting library whichever direction your production takes.

Who It's For

A good fit if you produce hip-hop in EZkeys and want quick access to ready-made hooks and breakdowns to build on, rather than starting from a blank piano track every time.
