Heavy Metal MIDI

Product Description

Heavy Metal MIDI is a MIDI pack from Toontrack featuring drum grooves and fills inspired by classic heavy metal bands such as Judas Priest, Manowar, Iron Maiden and Saxon. The pack includes approximately 450 individually played files, performed by a professional drummer, giving you ready-made patterns to build your songs around directly in your DAW or virtual drum instrument.

Expect everything from basic, bulldozer-heavy grooves to galloping madness, double bass drum frenzies and all the fills to match. The kind of forceful, pounding playing that defined the genre from the early '80s onward. The files are recorded in 4/4, in straight and/or swing feel, so you can match exactly the vibe your song needs.

Built for fast composing

Grooves and fills are categorized by song structure, such as intro, verse, chorus, bridge and fills, making it easy to put together a drum arrangement that feels alive and purposeful without programming every hit by hand.

Who It's For

A good choice if you produce metal, hard rock or related genres and want authentic, hand-played drum grooves to use as reference or directly in production, rather than programming drums from scratch.
