Product Description

The Hardcase HN22B is a rugged hardcase built for a 22" bass drum, fitting drums with a depth between 14" and 20". It protects your bass drum during rehearsals, gigs and touring, and makes it easy to move around.

Easy to carry and lift

The case has two rubber wheels at the back, so you can pull it along like a suitcase. On top of that there are four handles in total – two on top, one on the lid and one on the bottom – giving you several ways to lift or drag the case depending on the situation. It closes with adjustable clip buckles on straps, so you can adjust the length to match the depth of your drum. Inside, several foam strips keep the drum sitting safely and securely during transport.

Stackable cases

The lid has a raised plus-shaped section and the bottom a matching recessed one. Together they lock the case in place from every direction, so several Hardcases can be stacked on top of each other without sliding apart – handy if you need to store or transport more than one case at a time.

Which size fits my drum?

The stated size of a case refers to the drum it’s meant to fit – not the outer dimensions of the case itself. For a 22" bass drum you choose a 22" case; there’s already room built in for hoops and lugs. The same applies to depth: it’s the drum’s shell depth that’s stated (14–20" for this case), not the case’s own depth.

How do I know what size my drum is?

Drum sizing refers to the shell itself, not the outer dimensions once hoops and lugs are mounted. If unsure, remove a head and measure the shell’s outer diameter and depth – those figures (e.g. 22" x 18") are the ones used to describe the drum.

The standard model is black, but Hardcase can be special-ordered in a range of colorful variants.
