Product Description

Rugged hardcase from Hardcase (HNP14S-YE) for a 14" snare drum with a depth of 5" to 8", in yellow. The case keeps your drum safe on tour and at home thanks to several foam strips inside and a comfortable carry handle.

The case closes easily with adjustable clip fasteners mounted on straps, so you can adjust the length to match the depth of your drum. The handle on top makes it easy to carry to rehearsal or a gig.

Stackable

The lid has a raised plus-shape and the bottom a matching recess. These lock the case in place from every direction so several cases don't slide apart when stacked on top of each other.

Will this case fit my drum?

The stated size of a case is not the size of the case itself, but the size of drum it's built to hold. If you have a 12" rack tom, you buy a 12" case. Room for lugs and hoops is already accounted for. The one exception is drums with large rims-style suspension mounts: on sizes 8"-13" it can be worth going one size up from the drum's own size, so there's no strain on the mount. The same applies to the stated depth. It's the drum's own depth that's listed, not the case's.

How do I know what size my drum is?

A drum's size refers to the shell's own dimensions, not the hoops or lugs mounted on top of it. If you're unsure: remove a head and measure the shell's outer diameter, plus the shell's depth. A drum with a 13" diameter and 10" depth is called a 13"x10" drum, even though it's physically larger once hoops and lugs are fitted.
