Hardcase Snare Case HNP14S-RD for 14" Virveltrumma - Red

Product Description

A robust snare drum case from Hardcase built for 14" snare drums with a depth between 5" and 8". Finished in red, it features a comfortable carry handle and adjustable clip fasteners that let you match the case length to your drum's depth. Inside, several foam strips keep the drum secure and protected.

The HNP14S-RD is designed to protect your snare on the way to rehearsal, gigs, or the studio. The adjustable straps let the case accommodate different depths within its range, while the internal foam strips keep the drum steady and cushioned against knocks.

Stackable cases

Hardcase cases are designed to stack without sliding apart. The lid has a raised plus-shaped section and the base a matching recessed one, locking cases together from all sides when stacked.

Our Tips

Not sure if the case fits your drum? The size stated on a case doesn't refer to the case's own dimensions, but to the drum size it fits. A 14" snare drum needs a 14" case. There's already room built in for hoops and lugs. If your drum has large rim mounts, it can be a good idea to go one size up for drums between 8" and 13" to avoid stress on the mount. The same applies to the depth measurement: it's the drum's depth that's stated, not the case's.

A drum's stated size always refers to the shell itself, measured at the outer edge without hoops or lugs. A drum with a 13" diameter and 10" deep shell is called a 13"x10" drum, regardless of how much larger it becomes once fully assembled.
