Stackable without sliding

The lid has a raised plus-shape and the base a matching recess. Together they lock the case in place from all directions, so several cases can be stacked without sliding apart. Handy when storing multiple cases at once.

Will this case fit your drum?

The stated size of a case does not describe the case itself, but the drum size it is designed to fit. Space for lugs and hoops is already accounted for. If your drum has large rims/suspension mounts, it can be a good idea on 8"–13" sizes to choose a case one size larger than the drum to avoid stress on the mount. The same applies to depth. The stated measurement is the drum's depth, not the case's.

How do you find your drum's size?

A drum's size refers to the shell's diameter and depth, measured at the outer edge, excluding hoops and lugs. A drum with a 13" diameter and 10" deep shell is called a 13"x10" drum, even though it becomes physically larger once hardware is mounted.
